You meet at the lobby of Your hotel with Your private guide and Your driver. After You are taking Your personal comfortable car/van/ mini-bus and start for the St.Petersburg Highlight tour. You'll visit the birthplace of the Northern Capital - Peter and Paul's Fortress and the Cathedral, that is a burial place of Russian Royal family. Your tour guide will take You to enjoy the magnificent panoramic view of the Neva River. During this tour You will get a chance to enjoy the outstanding beauty of the St.Isaac's Cathedral and the Saviour On the Spilt Blood. You will be able to take photos at the most picturesque places of the city: Spit of Basil Island, the Bronze Horseman (Monument to Peter the Great), Egyptian Sphinx, Smolniy Institute, Admiralty shipyard, Nevsky Prospect (the main avenue of St.Petersburg). You will be able to explore the Revolutionary ship - Cruiser Aurora.
Before the next tour we are suggesting You to have a lunch.
After the break You are invited to one of the best 100 European noble Palaces. The Yusupov's Palace is the real "encyclopedia" of St. Petersburg aristocratic interior design. The Yusupov Palace witnessed one of the Russian history's moments of high drama - the murder of Gregory Rasputin. As tour-guides lead you through the beautiful recreated aristocratic interiors, the full story of the murder of Rasputin will unfold before you.
At the end of the tour Your tour guide and Your driver will return You back to the hotel. You are welcome with any evening options.
 
DAY 2

Your personal tour guide and Your driver are greeting You at the hotel lobby. You are starting for one of the world-famous museums - for the State Hermitage Museum. The Hermitage tour includes visit of 4 buildings of the Hermitage ensemble: the Winter Palace, the Small Hermitage, the Old Hermitage the New Hermitage. Exploring these palaces you will be impressed not only with the valuable artistic collection, but also with the beauty of the interiors. Plafonds, parquets, stucco-works, gilded woodcarvings are unbelievably outstanding. Optional visit of the Diamond Room - the collection of the Royal Jewelry.
After the tour You are invited aboard the Hydrofoil which within 30 min will take You to the Peterhoff. You won't notice how you will find Yourself at the Royal Summer Residence Peterhoff (or Petrodvorets). This city of outstanding parks, marvelous cascades and innumerous fountains is a former summer Residence of Russian emperors. These fascinating ensemble are laid out right on the southern shore of the Finnish Gulf (Baltic Sea). During the tour You'll enjoy the beauty of the grounds and visit Peter the Great's Monplaisir Palace. Monplaisir is translated into English as "my pleasure". In reality this palace is the fulfilling of Peter the Great dreams. While enjoying walking around the Royal residence, You are welcome to rest and have a cup of coffee or a lunch in one of the historical pavilions.
In about 2 hours You are starting back to the hotel. On the way You will see Russian President's Residence - Constantine's Palace, get an idea of the modern suburb cottages and will take a look to the St.Petersburg China Town.
In case You are not tired and feel enthusiastic about feeling Yourself really Russian - You are invited to explore St.Petersburg Subway. Stalin said, that Russian tzars used to built Palaces for themselves, while Communists started to build palaces for regular people. And it is really so, St. Petersburg metro stations resemble more palace interiors, than regular subway tunnels. The interiors are decorated with mosaics, marble, crystals and outstanding chandeliers.

DAY 3

Your personal tour guide and Your driver are greeting You at the hotel lobby and You are leaving for the City of Pushkin (former Tsarskoye Selo). On the way You have opportunity to get acquainted with the present day architecture of the city and get closer to the everyday life of St.Petesburg. In an hour You'll find Yourself in a cozy town - the former Tsars' Summer residence. Your tour guide will invite You to see the breathtaking interiors of the Catherine's Palace. During the tour You will visit the 8th miracle of the world - the magnificent Amber room. After the Palace You'll have opportunity to enjoy walking around the Catherine's Park, exploring the French style lay-out and facades of the park pavilions.
After walking You are invited to have lunch at the typical Russian restaurant, built as a farmer's house - Podvorye. This is one of the most favourite places of our president Vladimir Putin in St.Petersburg.
After lunch we offer You to visit Pavlovsk. This a superb palace-and park ensemble of the late XVII-early XIX centuries which was used as a summer residence of the Russian emperor Paul I and his family. This palace is known for its' outstanding collection of antique sculptures, European furniture, bronze, china sets, silk fabrics….
Your driver is picking You up right next to the Palace and You are returning to the downtown. If You are fond of history we invite You to visit the Monument to the Heroic Defenders of Leningrad. During the visit of the underground museum You will learn about 900 tragic days for the city. Leningrad (former name of St.Petersburg) was surrounded by Nazis and completely cut off from the rest of the country for almost 3 years.
In case You are interested in Art we highly recommend You visiting the State Russian Museum. It is the first and the biggest museum of Russian art and history, owning the collection of more than 400000 exhibits. It includes several departments: the Ancient Russian Art (icons and pieces of applied art); the Russian Paintings of 18th - 20th centuries; the Russian sculptures; the Numismatics; the Drawings; the Russian Applied art; the Modern Trends; the Miniatures. It contains works by the greatest Russian artists: Rublev, Brullov, Kiprensky, Repin, Levitan and many others. Returning to the hotel.

We know that meals preferences can differ and therefore want to give YOU complete flexibility in choosing the optional meal plan. The following options are available:

  • Play-by-ear: Eat in any city bistro or caf? along the tour route (seating subject to availability)
  • Pre-arranged lunch: YOU reserve seats and certain menu in recommended restaurants in advance. This option helps YOU to save much time by having lunches already served when YOU arrive in a restaurant.
  • Shopping

    If You would like to take a souvenir from Russia, we will be glad to take You either to one of St.Petersburg better souvenirs stores or to a local flea market. Both options carry a wide selection of traditional Russian souvenirs. If You are interested in seeing the way ordinary Russians procure their groceries, we can suggest a visit to the Rynok (farmers' market).
