Dear Guests!

My name is Alex. I live in the country in 35km from St.Petersburg, near the point where Neva river takes its start from Ladoga Lake. I live here with my Mom Ksenia, wife Polina, little daughter Lisa, cat Pinia and dog Villy. We enjoy country, its quiet and nature, city is too big and noisy for us. Here we have Summer and Winter houses, Bath house with Russian sauna, garden with different fruits, berries and vegetables.

Girls are taking care of it, while I am doing the constructions, most of them are built by Dad and me, since he passed away I am the main and the only builder on our land. We enjoy not only hard work but good rest as well. What could be better after week of work, than Russian sauna?! Russian shashlik(shashkibab) is another traditional thing we enjoy much.

If you come to St.Petersburg, you can see beautiful museums and palaces, you can visit theaters and restaurants, no doubts all that worth seeing, but what about Russian Soul, Russian Spirit, Russian Hospitality, meals, traditions...? If you are interested in that, you should come to the country! We will cook tasty Russian meals for you, prepare sauna, show how we live and work here.

If you want to complete feeling yourselves Russians, you should overnight in one of our houses. You are welcome! On the pictures you can see our family, houses, little parts of the garden, shashlik with Christine and Susan(California) last Autumn. By the way, Christine, Chef of Grill(Beverly Hills) having tried shashlik "a la Alex" rewarded me by personal suit of Executive Chef. Am I proud? Of course I am!:-)

Anyway all these are words, we have Russian saying : " It is better to try once than to hear 100ds of times". Please come and try, I am sure you will not be disappointed. Welcome to Russian country!!
